I’ve never done this before so I’m not sure how it works. My husband was arrested on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge and he’s being booked at the Laguna Beach Jail. The officer told me his bail will be set at $25,000. Do I need to put the house up to get him out?

It would be very unusual for a bondsman to require you post collateral for this type of bond. Bail bonds collateral is generally used in one of two situations. The first, would be if your husband’s bail was set in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. The second, would be if you have shaky credit, but you are looking for a bail bonds payment plan with a low down-payment and low-monthly payments.

For more information on how Laguna Beach bail bonds work or what needs to be done to get your husband out of the Laguna Beach Jail fast, call our office now at 888-224-5266 to speak with a local bondsman you can trust.  All calls are handled confidentially, and consultations are always free.
